I live in the area where this happened, and each year during the Laughlin River Run quite a few accidents, often fatalities occur. Most of these accidents seem to come from motorcyclists riding two abreast or side by side. They seem to challenge other vehicles for the right to ride the center line, often lining their bikes up with the fuel tank closely to the center of the road. They don't seem to realize that this puts their handle bars over the line, which at night, oncoming traffic cannot see. Regardless of how loud they are if you cant see them at knight, they look like a car coming at you, so other drivers don't count on anything being over the line. This is seldom the fault of the other vehicle, however in this particular case it sounds like they could possibly both be at fault. In any case for the locals who live here it is a problem that we must live with until they change the law and require motorcycles to ride in a single file line as if they were driving a car.!!!

I think this is the first time I have heard of this happening. Head-on motorcycycles wrecking. I wish them well.
