SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- Adults and kids with disabilities got some help paying for assistance dogs in Scottsdale on Sunday.

It was all part of a "Dog A Thon" near Scottsdale Road and Stetson.

The two day event raised money for the "Power Paws Assistance Dogs" charity.

Participants, who were also able to adopt four legged friends at the event, enjoyed a silent auction, raffle, awards ceremony and a parade.

The pups even got a chance to cool off in fake snow.
