Jacory Ranger, 24, was reportedly exiting his parked vehicle near the Upper Deck Bar and Grill in the area of Indian School and Scottsdale roads at 2 a.m.

Police said as Ranger was removing a rifle from the back seat of his car, he inadvertently discharged the firearm, striking the lower portion of his right leg.
