Well, first off the author got the whole story wrong. Let me point out what is wrong with this article. 1) We weren't riding double 2)We weren't on a cattle drive. Just three friends on a simple 20 minute trial ride with 3 horses (1 each) 3) Two females fell. There was no male 4)There were no cattle 5) One of us got bucked off because one horse was still a bit new to the trial riding activity, so he's still a little green. He got scared of something and then my horse turned to quickly for me to stay balanced and then I fell. Our third friend called 911 and a neighbor came out to help us until the ambulance arrived 10 minutes later. We were both airlifted to different hospitals and are doing fine as of right now. We are both appalled at the fact that this story was twisted and is just completely wrong. Sincerely, The rider (the real rider) PS. Who were your sources????

Couldn't have been a serious cattle drive; you don't have two riders on a horse for that kind of work! Sounds more like two riders are embarrassed about not knowing how to. Is Scottsdale still full of pampered folk?? You gotta get back on that horse or you'll be forever laughed at??! jst kdn'

I think horses should have an electronic locking device and biometric ID technology so that they can only be ridden by cowboys or indians.

Well that is what happen when you have dudes and dudettes do cowboys job without the proper training! lol

You're very right, Dutch, about riding double doing a cattle drive. I'd like to know what was in their minds 'cuz it sure wasn't safety. Dumb move on their part.

Shouldnt be riding double doing a cattle drive anyways

I wouldn't want to carry 2 people around in a 100 degree heat, either.

If cattle scared the horse, I'd kill that damned horse!!
