spoor - anyone who needs an excuse to steal from someone else will find a way to justify it. those who have that morality firmly in place will not. point being those who are stealing now and blaming the economy were thieves anyway - just not necessarily practicing thieves.

We will probably see a rise in this kind of crime.With unemployment still rising,the economy in the tank,people of any race are turning to crime to somehow make ends meet.Hopefully d.c will get a clue and reward the good employers,so they can create jobs and fix our economy.We cannot move forward in this recession without jobs.

Paradise Valley PD will figure it out, watch. There are so many illegals in that area working as landscapers, house keepers. They are casing every house. People need to do background checks on everyone working in their home. Never hire an Illegal, they will turn on you or tell the mexican mafia about you. They are easily blackmailed.

We should all be ashamed of ourselves. So far we've been profiling. Not one of us has mentioned drugs and/or gangs as the cause. I mean, those things just couldn't exist in Paradise Valley, now could they? :-)

I even checked all the other local news websites, not a mention of the home invasion on any of them. I wonder if they are being silly and waiting for more information? Maybe we should be looking in south Scottsdale? With all those adult businesses going in the residents are going to need some money to patronize them.
