A fire official at the scene said at least seven people were involved in the accident and several students have been transported to a Valley hospital with minor injuries.

The accident occurred in front of Boulder Creek High School, but it is unclear if those involved are students at that school.

Northbound Gavilan Peak Parkway was shut down for a short time as crews cleared the scene.

Video from overhead Air15 showed the five vehicles all in one lane and it appeared as though each vehicle rear-ended the one in front of it.
