The Siverls case was not dismissed, it was settled. The Siverls and their lawyer did not have enough direct information to explain in court how Dahn is just one organization and is controlled by Ilchi Lee. The Siverls said this was true but had only 1 former entry level Dahn Master to testify to this end. Very unlike this lawsuit, where among the claimants, there is a very complete understanding, and direct experience and documentation to back it up, that the above assertion is true. Back to the settlement, once the Dahn lawyers were able to get enough taken out of the case (including Ilchi Lee) they settled for millions of dollars. Not the tens of millions the Siverls asked for, but still alot of money. Then as for someone being co-erced into lying in court.....this person was moved around for a while after Julia died so that the police could not find this person and ask questions. Then when this person was subpoenaed to testify in court, Dahn decided what was said. And the story that was told in court, about things such as what happened to the 40 lbs of rocks Julia was carrying in her back pack, was significantly altered. And all because Ilchi Lee is god and Dahn is for peace and since they have an enlightened leader and are working to heal the world, it is therefore ok for them to do anything. The logic is inane and every single person in this organization operates with this logic every single day. The higher level of leader, the stronger this logic applies. Those who cannot completely follow this logic are seen as having something wrong with them, their ego is controlling their thinking, and are kept in lower level positions until they "realize" and "fix" their mind. Sound like a plan for the whole planet?

@peanuts go to this website http://www.selectsmart.com/ilchilee.html, and then click on new legal documents for cases against dahn link....it describes why it was dismissed (jurisdictional issues) but I don't know anything about the actual proceedings.

TruthboutIlchi, if you're still watching this page, I really would like to know what you meant when you said that one of the hikers was forced to lie in court, and if you know how that case ended. I know it was dismissed, but on what grounds? Do you mean forced in the sense of being brainwashed to lie for the vision or forced as in threatened?

TruthboutIlchi, what happened with the Siverls' lawsuit? I don't know the end result. In what way was the hiker "forced" to lie in court, and what did the person lie about? (Too chicken to tell the truth in court? Sorry, I couldn't resist). I do feel sorry for the masters who are so deeply invested in Dahn, emotionally and financially, that they can't let themselves dare to question and to see the harm they're doing to other people. They are victims, but at a certain point the victims of cults become perpetrators, hurting other people, making it harder to feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for the spokesperson for Dahn for this latest lawsuit (whatever became of Charlotte Connors?) He's only been with Dahn for a few years (I looked up his name) and probably doesn't know much about them. He should read the NewDahn website, at least.

Peanuts, you get it. Another person who was on that hike was forced to lie in court about the case. All of this is kind of like the conventional versus the local, organic food industry. Both are food, both have nutrition.....but the conventional chickens grow in houses with no light, can't walk because they are so fat, and are soaked in ammonium to kill the samonella and e coli growing in their bodies. A huge amount of fossil fuels are used to transport them as well. Then there are the free-range, organic chickens treated with respect. A conventional chicken farmer has $500,000 of debt for 2 chicken houses and makes $18,000 a year from Tyson. I don't know how much an organic chicken farmer makes, probably not much more, but there isn't the debt, the farmer has integrity and self respect, the farmer isn't being taken advantage of by corporate interests that need to make a huge McChicken delivery, and the chickens are healthy and happy. Both look like chicken. But the quality of the product is vastly different. What I think everyone in Dahn right now doesn't get is that what they are doing is ok. Its ok to be a conventional chicken farmer. But the problem is that they cannot see, are kept from seeing, and refuse to see that they are quietly being taken advantage of for their good intentions and pure hearts. They think they are organic. But really they are just conventional. I hope as this whole thing unfolds and the period of Dahn trying to assassinate the characters of the claimants with false accusations about mental stability, ring leaders(the only ring leaders are in dahn, that's why the claimants all left, duh!)&of embezzlement(everyone knows in Dahn that no one steals, people just flip money at the end of the month to achieve their vision),that they will see on the other side the true colors of their conventional chicken establishment that they thought was free range and organic and then have the courage to really do what they only believe they are doing right now

I've been informed that Ilchi Lee, who is supposedly spitting nails about all of the damaging information circulating about him on the Internet, has hired teams of people in India (who have never set foot in a Dahn center) to post positive comments about Dahn online. So please take a large grain of salt with any faux "positive" comments you read from supposed members.

LOL "dahndroids"... I think valleyrocks was just trying to make the point that they weren't forced into anything... but seriously... all you guys... dahndroids and anti-dahndroids... why don't you take your spam war somewhere else?

If you read most of the posts here defending Dahn and Ilchi Lee, they are very self-centered. They only care about how Dahn Yoga makes them feel or what they think they see for themselves. These will be the masters of a new peaceful world, a bunch of self-centered cult-denialists?! I'm amused by the one who says "I said no and I didn't go until I felt like it!" Reminds me of the alcoholic who says: "I'm not an alcoholic, I WANT to drink." Here we have all these people denying even the possibility that the allegations of the 24 former masters could be true (or they lack empathy), even though they could read the case file online of a former master who worked very closely with Ilchi Lee who sued for THE SAME THINGS in 2002, even though they know that a Dahn healer school trainee suffered and died right in front of her teammates who were so brain dead that they let her die right in front of their faces rather than turn back and fail the Dahn test (and one of them is so devoted to Dahn that she has the gall to come here to post a condemnation of her friends in this case). I have news for all you Dahndroids: These 24 former masters are YOU. That's right, they are YOU but in an advanced state of true-self enlightenment, and they are suing because they care about YOU. WAKE UP!

To each his own! If it works for you, do it, if not, don't! I think that it is easy to scare the public about a 'powerful spiritual guru', but from what i have seen over the past 4 years, it is not true. I like the dahn yoga system, and the people in it, and the founder, ilchi lee. It helps my daily stress and helps me be a better mother.

Being a pretty dedicated member, I've tried many of the workshops. Several times they tried to sell me on a workshop I didn't want to go to and guess what... I SAID NO AND I DIDNT GO UNTIL I FELT LIKE IT! It's a business for god's sake! That doesn't make it a cult!
