"This is a continuation of the investigation that we started," said Dr. Craig Runbeck, executive director, Arizona Naturopathic Physicians Board of Medical Examiners. "We're gathering more information and subpoenaed today to get some extra records. We're going to look through those records and see where it leads us."
The ABC15 Investigators first reported on Revolution Medical Centers in April, going undercover and finding that steroids are a prescription of choice at the clinic.
The Arizona Naturopathic Physicians Board of Medical Examiners last week formally alleged Revolution's former clinical director, Dr. Jesse Haggard, prescribed anabolic steroids, human growth hormone, and prescription only drugs without legitimate medical purpose.
The board will have a formal hearing that could result in revocation of Haggard's license to prescribe steroids or any other controlled substances.
Runbeck said all three doctors at the clinic are now under investigation.
The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners are also investigating Revolution Medical Centers and its physicians.
