Dr. Jesse Haggard, the former medical director of Revolution Medical Centers in Phoenix Arizona, who is currently under federal investigation, has published a book about anabolic steroids.

The book, Demystifying Steroids, is available online.

In an email to ABC15, Haggard claims he wrote the book as "a way to ensure my message to the public was not distorted."

Haggard, who is under federal investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration for illegally prescribing anabolic steroids, claims, "I only tried to help people by practicing medicine."

The email goes on to state that his book communicates "the science and potential benefit of steroids as a medicine."

Haggard was recently forced to surrender his license to the Arizona Board of Naturopathic Medical Examiners after admitting to charges that he altered medical records subpoenaed by the state and failed to maintain adequate patient files.

Back in April, the ABC15 Investigators went undercover and inside Revolution Medical Centers where a doctor prescribed us more than $2,000 in anabolic steroids and human growth hormone.

All we told the doctor was, "I'm looking to put on size in my chest and my arms."
