Hundreds of people across the country say a company called "Greatest Vitamin in the World" took the money they invested. The business closed and is under investigation by the U.S. Postal Inspectors Office. The individual investors who hoped to make money were out thousands.

Glen Davis lives in Alabama. He says he lost $6400.
Then he says he got a phone call from a company called Business Recovery Services, telling him they could help him get his money back.

"They would go about their business to take care of recovering the money and of course they would send me a check once that's completed," said Davis.

Glen says he was told all he had to do was purchase a business recovery kit for $169 dollars. It wasn't what he expected.

"There was almost identical forms to uh different people, one was to the post master general, one was to the Better Business Bureau one was to the credit card company," said Davis.

Glen sent out the forms provided by Business Recovery Services. The forms cost him $169 dollars, but he could have filed those complaints on his own for free!
So has he seen any of the money?
"Oh I ain't got a dime back and I don't expect it now," said Davis.

Better Business Bureau President Matthew Fehling says they received hundreds of the Business Recovery complaint forms and a visit by the company owner.
A man named Brian Hessler. They say he came to fill out paperwork for his new business.

"After that we started to get a number of complaints that we traced back to the Business Recovery Services and Mr. Hessler," said Fehling.

The BBB says all the forms were from victims of the Greatest Vitamin in the world. The problem? The Postal Inspector's Office is the agency investigating the company, so the letters from the kit are useless to other agencies.

"Mr. Hessler told us he was actually an employee at Greatest Vitamin in the World," said Fehling.

Both the BBB and Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard say they have concerns about Hessler's business practices.
"I personally believe that is a bit predatory to charge those victims again in order to report the crime or report the fraud," said Attorney General Goddard.

While there is concern, authorities say what Hessler is doing is not illegal.

We caught up with Brian Hessler at Business Recovery Services in Mesa.
But he didn't want to talk.
He even called the police to get us to leave, which we did.

Glen now feels Hessler’s solution is just as bad as the problem it claimed to solve.

"I just hope that uh anybody that's ever contacted by someone like this do not take them at their word," said Davis.

The postal inspectors office tells us they are now investigating Business Recovery Services and Brian Hessler.
Remember, you don't have to pay to file a complaint with the BBB, the Attorney General, Postal Inspector or your credit card company.
