Police launch investigation into burglary at Yuma library

YUMA, AZ – Police are investigating a burglary at a Yuma County Library on Wednesday morning.

Sergeant Clint Norred with the Yuma Police Department said between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., a suspect or suspects burglarized the library near 12th Street and 21st Drive.

Police said a television set, laptop computer, and a safe containing an undisclosed amount of money were burglarized.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anybody with any information about this case to please call the Yuma Police Department at (928) 373-4700 or 78-Crime to remain anonymous.
