YUMA, AZ – A man was killed early Friday when a car he was in left a roadway and crashed into a brick wall in Yuma.

Yuma County Sheriff's Office received a report of a single vehicle collision at Scottsdale Avenue and East 34th Place at 1:10 a.m.

YCSO said a red, 1987 Ford 2-door car was traveling southbound on Scottsdale Avenue when it left the west side of the roadway and struck a private property brick wall.

One occupant of the vehicle was reportedly ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene from his injuries.

The other two occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Yuma Regional Medical Center where they were treated and released the same morning.

YCSO said the Ford was driven by 21-year-old Jose Ramirez.

Jose Marquez, 22, survived the wreck, but 21-year-old Rudy Natal was killed.

YCSO said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
