From the picture it looks like the pilot had some moments of doubt as to whether he would make the runway or not. He is lucky he made it before he ran out of space between him and the ground. No sense trying to be a hero with our uncle's stuff, you know. They were lucky this time.

I'm not worried ricky117, I know there are alot of very good maintainers there at spike. Just sucks that you get more on your plate than deserved!

Navy pilot nursing it back? No open bodies of water around to splash it into and wait for the helo to come rescue them. LOL.... just kidding. I have alot of respect for the Stick Actuators that strap their A$$e$ to these jets. Especially if you are in a station wagon with a new student! I've cleaned up a few cockpits and changed a few seat pads in my day!!! :o) Just glad all is OK. Looks like maintenance will have there hands full at spike!!

No offense intended ricky, damned flyboys, banged up another perfectly good airplane....lol, and I EARNED the right to give them sh** Seriously I'm glad they're ok, I doubt if "an" engine failure lead to this. More likely a hydraulic or control problem. I have to say that I'm glad that they're on my side.

These guys kick ass. They made tough decisions very quickly, and pulled off a landing.

Who cares about the stupid canopy, just glad the zipper-suited, sun-God is ok! LOL!!! God bless our men and women in uniform! And by the way, the zipper-suited, sun-God is a joke too, no harm meant.
