TUCSON, AZ  -- Authorities say a Tucson woman has been arrested after allegedly having 1,100 pounds of marijuana in her house while three of her children were home.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says 24-year-old Gumersinda Galaz is facing drug and child endangerment charges.

The DPS says another suspect was arrested after investigators found a bale of marijuana in the vehicle he was driving.

Authorities saw a bale of marijuana being removed from a shed on the woman's property Wednesday, pulled the vehicle over and arrested 20-year-old John Matus.

DPS investigators returned to Galaz's home with a search warrant and found more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana.

They say three of Galaz's children -- ages 8, 5 and 4 -- were home at the time.
