According to authorities, crews were able to put the flames out, but found three dogs and two cats inside the home. The animals had died of smoke inhalation.
The $300,000 home is a complete loss.
Investigators say they believe the fire was caused by a jack-o-lantern placed at the front door.
They say this should be a reminder to always use candles carefully.
