TUCSON, AZ -- The last of five men charged in a Tucson home invasion case are facing up to 56 1/4 years in prison after pleading guilty in the case Tuesday.
Prosecutors say 23-year-old Omar Jesus Jimenez and 24-year-old Joaquin Manuel entered a plea agreement to first-degree burglary charges and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Two other co-defendants entered the same plea agreement last month and a fifth man pleaded guilty to one count of robbery. Prosecutors say all five men will be sentenced in Pima County Superior Court within the next two months.
Tucson police say the heavily-armed men kicked in the doors of two Tucson homes last May looking for marijuana but found none.
Police say 11 people were home during the incidents, all of them had guns pointed at them and two victims were pistol-whipped.
