TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Police say a man has been jailed on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with a stabbing at a Tucson group home.

Authorities say 19-year-old Andrew Garcia and 50-year-old Michael DeWeese got into a fight over tobacco before DeWeese was stabbed several times on September 29.

Garcia was located in the surrounding neighborhood on the day of the stabbing and taken into custody.

Police say DeWeese died this week as a result of his injuries and Garcia has been booked into Pima County Jail.
