More than 2,000 pounds of marijuana were found last month inside a fake United Parcel Service truck in Pima County, according to a news release.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officers said they pulled the cloned truck over on a road November 14th.

They found 2,118 pounds of pot inside.

The bundles of drugs were attached to makeshift back straps, which officers said were used to carry the drugs through the desert.

The suspects used an authentic UPS license plate number and painted the truck to disguise it.

Officials are still looking for the driver, who fled after being pulled over.

An investigation is still ongoing.
