Officials from the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office arrested a suspect Monday in the murder of a man who's body was found near Bumble Bee, north of Phoenix, last month.
On August 11th, an ATV rider discovered the body of 33-year-old Matthew Hrabina near Bumble Bee Road about three miles off Interstate 17. The ATV rider met deputies near I-17 and took them to Hrabina's body, which was next to a creek bed. Deputies said Hrabina suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was likely killed at the same location as his body was found, according to a report released Tuesday afternoon. Investigators said Hrabina was a resident of Black Canyon City. Detectives from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section arrested 20-year-old Cody Christopher Forbis, a resident of Black Canyon City, on Monday for the murder of Matthew Hrabina. Forbis was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Facility.
