AZ RAIA that does'nt make any sense. So illegal aliens are the blame for every bad thing that happens in AZ. I'm not sticking up for illegal aliens, but I had stuff stolen from me by American citizens.

Since the location of this property crime is located within a few miles of the border, it's a safe bet illegals (who just got done burglarizing the USA) burglarized this house. And their crime spree will continue until we put an end to this INVASION.

Is he sure they were stolen? Maybe the clothesline is picking up bad habits from the infamous sock hungry washer or dryer?

Babala...we used to line dry when younger; until the illegals took more than socks way too often!! When I first read the article; I figured illegal aliens were lifting clothes again.

My comment goes out to all the cats named "socks" I'll drink to that!

Those socks play an important role in teaching our kids the dangers of strangers. Those socks could also be used in a terrible sock puppet show. I will never forget the drama/horror of (Little Miss Muffet) who was viciously beaten, strangled & raped by an angry, drunk (sock) puppet! :)

The thief left his at the border.

Billinarizona, my thoughts exactly.. But I hope they have more than socks on ... ewww!!!

VIP602 - 8/20/2009 2:20 PM
Really? This is making the news?!

Babala - 8/20/2009 2:18 PM
Good grief, people! Haven't you ever heard about letting the SUN do the work of keeping those white socks even whiter? Living here in sunny AZ. is the perfect reason to not use precious energy just so the items are softer or fluffier. I already line-dry sheets and towels, saving money that can be used elsewhere. Socks and undies, and especially those white undershirts, are also perfect out on the clothesline. Think of the money savings! It is a shame that the person in the news article had his socks stolen right off the line. Some rude, inconsiderate creep, with no moral conscience is hopefully starting to feel some guilt!!! P.S. Please stop blaming people slipping across the southern border for everything!
