A 15-year-old boy was killed after the vehicle he was driving crashed in the southern Arizona city of Dateland on Thursday afternoon.

Corporal George Pesce with the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said the teen was driving a white 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck on Glendale Road at approximately 3:45 p.m. with three other juvenile occupants inside the vehicle.

The teen reportedly lost control of the truck which left the roadway, struck a raised area of land, and rolled.

The driver sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

There is no word on the condition of the other passengers involved in the wreck.
