One person killed in crash on I-10 near Picacho Peak

PICACHO, AZ – An accident on Interstate 10 killed on person near Picacho Peak on Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. on westbound I-10, 1 mile west of Picacho Peak.

Bart Graves with the Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed one death as a result of the crash.

One lane was blocked for close to three hours, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
