Saturday is expected to be one of the busiest days of the years on Arizona lakes.
Most people on Friday were aware of the coming crowds, but were not deterred from enjoying their holiday to the fullest.
"Sometimes it gets a little concerning, people aren't always the smartest, but we pay attention, make sure everybody's on board and got thier life jackets and all that good stuff," said Bethany Lindsay who was enjoying the lake with her family.
Maricopa County Sherriff's along with the Parks and Recreation Department will be patroling the Arizona waterways to help make sure everyone has a good and safe time.
