TUCSON, AZ -- A judge has sentenced a 73-year-old Marana man to 17 years in prison for molesting a young boy more than a decade ago.

According to court documents, three brothers living in Michigan told their guardian in October 2006 that Arnold L. Geib had molested them numerous times when they were small children, one as young as 5.

Michigan authorities contacted the Pima County Sheriff's Department, which began investigating because Geib lived in Sahuarita during the alleged incidents.

Geib was indicted on multiple charges in December 2006.

Deputy Pima County Attorney Ryan Schmidt says Geib acknowledged last month he committed certain acts with one of the boys.

Pima County Superior Court Judge Clark Munger sentenced him Tuesday.
