MARICOPA, AZ -- Officials say five people were injured when their minivan crashed and rolled south of the Valley Saturday.
Maricopa fire spokesman Brad Pitassi said rescue crews were called to the scene on State Route 238 near the town of Mobile about noon.
They found a minivan on its roof with five people injured, including two adults and three minors, according to Pitassi.
He said all the victims were transported to Chandler Regional Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
It is unclear if weather had a part in the accident; the Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
