Some people just don't deserve a place on this planet. Tent city and make them clean up the abandoned foreclosure homes. Too many people in government and no one comes up with good ideas that are cheap and would improve our city.

Some people call this art. Grafitti? who determinds when it's grafitti or art? And it does not cost alot to clean up paint. I saw where the overhead sign on the freeway cost 4k to clean when grafitti was done just a few months ago. Why? It was on glass and paints comes right off with the right chemical. I would have done it for $400.00. Being in the sign business for 20 years I know how to remove paint cheap and quick.

After the courts assess the fines and damages, the taggers should have their faces spray painted, say, a chartreuse color and have to go in public like that for at least a year.

I make a lot of $$$ doing graffiti removal, but at the same time I am glad they caught these vandals, and hope they pay a hefty price.
