MARICOPA, AZ – Police have identified three adults and one juvenile believed to be connected to graffiti spotted throughout the city, according to a Wednesday report.
The Maricopa Police Department launched an investigation after noticing a trend in graffiti throughout the city over the past several months.
The graffiti incidents have reportedly taken place primarily in three subdivisions, on the Duke Golf course and on property belonging to the City of Maricopa.
The total damage for repairs and clean up of the graffiti has been extensive, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing and police are working to file charges in connection with these cases.
Officials encourage all city residents to beware of and report graffiti as soon as possible.
