MARICOPA, AZ -- A man was hospitalized Monday after his jeep rolled over into a canal.
It happened at about 2 p.m. at Papago and Green roads in Maricopa.
The driver, who was the only occupant inside the vehicle, needed to be extricated, according to Brad R. Pitassi, spokesman for the Maricopa Fire Department.
The driver was transported to a local hospital. His condition was not made available.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
