Twenty allegations to be exact.
"It's crazy, I cant believe it," said Misty Gonzalez, a mother of a middle school child.
"This has been an ongoing investigation since spring of 2009," said Maricopa School District spokesperson Tom Beckett.
The most serious charge against Stephanie Sharp is concerning a lockdown of Maricopa Wells Middle School on February 24.
During the lockdown, a staff member reportedly told police that her husband was going to take the kids out of the school and that he had a gun.
After several attempts by police to reach the principal, Sharp reportedly responded by telling the staff she was with the staff member's husband in a hotel room.
The report added that on several occasions Sharp would allegedly drive to school and then leave in a car with that same woman's husband -- but not let her staff know where she was.
Other allegations include Sharp taking several hours for lunch and sometimes not returning to school, or leaving early from school.
"We are affording Mrs. Sharp full due process in this process and want to make sure she has an opportunity to respond if necessary to the accusations that are made," said Beckett.
Also among the allegations is a disorderly conduct charge regarding a incident at a youth football game involving the staff member and the staff members husband.
The governing board will meet regarding these allegations.
Sharp could face termination.
