I agree with cactus jack......The math error just simply represents a reduction in taxes orginilly billed to tax payers. The new billing will reflect the taxes that should have been billed for in the first place. So for people like "humanKIND" who feel like they should be exempt from paying property taxes this year is just absolutely obsurd. People are complaining of a tax bill they were originally responsible for paying. I think people need to come to their senses, and realize how ridiculous they sound when they are "complaining" about the revised tax bill notices.

The headline, "Math error means more taxes...." is misleading and inflammatory. The correction is only to the amount that should have been levied in the first place. I believe the mistake was including the secondary tax, along with the primary rate, for a reduction when it was not part of the state reduction. No one is paying more taxes as a result of this error than they should have been paying in the first place.

I dont think sorry will resolve the issue . All pinal county homeowners Should be exempt from paying property taxes this year for that manner. And let the official be responsible for their actions.
