Oh and it was also not mentioned that not only did the trainer and his horse fall in the hole but my filly was being pulled behind them. She also fell in the hole and used the trainer and his horse as footing to get out of the hole first.

I have to add a comment here since I was riding next to them when they fell. Her name is Sparkles, she is doing great now and I wanted people to know that the other end of that rope pulling her out of the hole was my 20 year old horse named Graybull. He's another hero of the day in our eyes especially when machines couldn't get her out. Nothing like real horse power.

Awww I am so glad the rider and Sprinkles the horse is okay .... thanks to the men and women who worked so hard to get her out ... and thanks to the company who provided the backhoe (I think it is Apache Pipeline who has heavy equipment with green tops) . I know the emotions were running high for those folks who helped. God Bless you.

Donkey Story One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off! Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up! Remember the five simple rules to be happy: 1. Free your heart from hatred. 2. Free your mind from worries. 3. Live simply. 4. Give more. 5. Expect less. P.S.: The donkey later came back and kicked THE SXXX out of the farmer that tried burying him. Moral: When you try to cover your ass, it always comes back to get you.

sagemind: im sorry about you dad. I am glad that horse and rider are okay. Sure good to her a good story . And look at all these people helping this horse. These people just dropped what they were doing and helped. These people are my heroes.
