ATV rider found after vanishing near canyon in Florence
FLORENCE, AZ – Officials have located a man who vanished near Florence on Thursday.
Darrin Mullen, 38, drove his truck with his ATV in the bed of the truck to a location near Box Canyon, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
Box Canyon, off Highway 79 near Florence, was reportedly an area were he normally goes riding.
Mullen’s truck was found near the canyon on Friday morning, but there was no sign of him.
Mullen was later located in good condition.His ATV had broken down, according to Tamatha Villar with the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
