BLACK CANYON CITY, AZ – Deputies from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office made four arrests during September in relation to multiple thefts in the Black Canyon City area.

Angela Bailey-Wieber, 33, David Wieber, 51, James Germinaro, 41, and Randy Fritz were all arrested for theft cases in Black Canyon City and Mesa.

Deputies investigated a series of thefts from a home located on the 33000 block of Ha-Wa-Si-Trail in Black Canyon City.

Items such as firearms, books and automobile parts were reportedly stolen during ongoing thefts beginning earlier this year.

Investigations and Silent Witness tips led to the discovery of the Wiebers living in a travel trailer nearby. Officials say the trailer had been reported stolen from the Mesa area.

Detectives served a search warrant on the trailer on September 3 and recovered several of the reported stolen items, according to authorities. Among the items recovered, deputies also found a handgun, which was not stolen.

Angela is prohibited to possess any type of firearm and she was detained along with David Wiebers as a result of the search. Both were reportedly involved with drugs and admitted to the thefts from the residence.

During the investigation, deputies received information that a person named “Randy” had sold the stolen trailer to the Wiebers, officials say.

According to authorities, detectives located Randy Fritz on September 9 in the 20000 block of Wagon Wheel Circle in Black Canyon City and questioned him about the travel trailer.

Fritz reportedly admitted that he bought the trailer for $500 in Phoenix and then sold the trailer to the Wiebers after being evicted from a local trailer park in the area. Fritz was arrested.

Deputies also found that James Germinaro was in possession of some of the property that had been stolen by the Wiebers, officials say.

Detectives reportedly searched Germinaro’s home in the 33000 block of South Canyon Road and recovered numerous items that were reported stolen from the Ha-Wa-Si-Trail residence.

Deputies also recovered from Germinaro’s residence an ATM machine that had been stolen in early August from a restaurant in the 34000 block of Old Black Canyon City Highway, officials say.

According to authorities, Germinaro denied any involvement in the burglary of the machine, but admitted that he allowed Fritz and David Wieber store it in his home. Deputies arrested Germinaro for possession of stolen property.

All of the suspects were transported to the Camp Verde Detention Center.

David Wieber faces charges of theft of means of transportation, burglary and trafficking in stolen property.

Angela Bailey-Wieber was charged with theft of means of transportation, five counts of burglary, possession of a firearm in a drug offense, prohibited firearms possession and possession of marijuana.

Fritz faces charges of theft of a means of transportation and Germinaro was charged with theft, felony possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during a drug offense, and possession of marijuana.

Detectives are still reportedly investigating the series of thefts and expect more arrests to be made. All suspects are currently in custody as of Tuesday.
