On Wednesday, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office released the identity of the teenager who drowned in Lake Pleasant on Memorial Day.
Richard Agostino, 17, of the northwest part of the Valley, reportedly dove from a cliff into Lake Pleasant shortly before 5:40 p.m. Monday, according to Deputy Lindsey Smith of MCSO.
Smith said while the boy was in the lake, another diver may have landed on top of him.
The MCSO Dive Team recovered Agostino's body later Monday night.
Cliff diving at Lake Pleasant is illegal.
