Pay it forward...

You've heard the concept of "paying it forward."

If someone does something kind for you -- you, in turn, do something kind for someone else.

And, so on and so on.

In these uncertain and stressful economic times, it's easy to get into a funk.

I was in one this morning.

But, let me tell you, I've found a way to snap myself right out of that -- by, yes, paying it forward.

I've heard about other people going to Starbucks, or some other drive-though, and paying for the person behind them  -- so, today, I gave it a try.

Hopefully, I made her day -- what's not to love about a free chai latte and yogurt parfait?

The gesture wasn't completely altruistic -- because it certainly brightened my day.
