Irvin: Are you to be considered in your own opinion of "Consider the source?" I read your letter and I don't believe you were fair in your assessment of what the American people think about the "press" or journalists for that matter. Did you poll only those that gave your letter credibility? I AM a journalist and a published author and have experienced first-hand what you so casually cast off as an uninformed American public. My book was published in the summer of 2008 and have suffered unbelievable retaliations and retributions, from local officials, due to the nature of my book; the TRUTH! Channel 12, in Phoenix, saw my story on CNN Ireport and hounded me for an interview regarding, "You have an incredible story!" I agreed to do the interview and I am a witness to the irresponsible journalism, bias, prejudice, cover-up, lies, and BS that is shoved down the throat of the American public, which of course you spewed out in your letter. By the time Channel 12 got done with my "Incredible story" they made sure that there was no possibility that any of the public corruption I wrote about, or any of the retaliations or death threats had an ounce of credibility. At the time my "Incredible story" aired on March 20, 2009, I had filed a lawsuit in the Superior Court, for an unrelated issue. None of the officials contacted by Channel 12 would agree to an interview, however, they did state, on national television that they were considering a libel suit against me for exercising my First Amendment Right and publishing a "memoir" about their corruption. It came as no surprise to me that exactly 19 days after my "Incredible story" aired, I received a counter-claim, from the defendants' attorney, for libel. It just so happens that the defendant's attorney is also the contracted attorney for the Town of Springerville, the focus of my book about corruption, abuse of power, and maleficence of office. Responsible journalism? Right! Regards, Looking4trth

I must say, I enjoyed reading your letter. I greatly respect what you have to say. I came to your site today just to see what your guys are reporting on versus what's going on in the government. May I say, I don't watch local news channels anymore due to the lack of content of what I want hear. If there is a worthy story, all you hear is up next and its not even up next its three lame stories later. A lot of fluff in local news it seems. As for Glenn and other commentators they have an hour to name names and place blame where its coming from. That's what Americans, I think want to hear. Hear what? What is going on in our government. Unfortunalty, local news has to fit an array of stories in one hour.
