A California Doctor claims that he's stumbled upon an unexpected treatment for hair loss.

According to The Sun newspaper, a cosmetic surgeon based in Beverly Hills has been treating his mother for migraines. She had gone through chemotherapy and lost her hair.

The doctor injected the chemical, formally called Botulinum toxin, into her scalp but was surprised to find that it also appeared to help her hair to grow back, according to The Sun.

The doctor claims adding a mixture of vitamins makes the process more effective and that the process is both safe and effective.

If these claims are, in fact, proven Botox could potentially be used to treat baldness!

A series of studies are now underway.
