We’re all looking for easy ways to be healthier in our daily lives.

Most of us will go on and off of healthy eating, but one thing that seems to slip by is healthy drinking.

Your health depends as much on what you drink as what you eat, and Regan Jasper, beverage director for Fox Restaurant Concepts, encourages introducing healthy drink recipes into your diet.

Jasper says by adding antioxidant and vitamin-rich beverages to your daily routine, the body will not only gain nutrients, but also much-needed internal cleansing to help lower the risk of heart disease and some forms of neurological diseases along with improving cardiovascular health.

Although diet beverages such as soda are calorie-free, Jasper says they also contain toxins that are harsh on the internal system which have proven to cause increased risk factors leading to heart disease and diabetes.

True Food Kitchen features a number of house made elixirs and juices that provide a refreshing and healthful approach to everyday drinking.

One ingredient the restaurant is proud to feature is olivello juice, sourced from the seabuckthorn berry.

Jasper says olivello juice provides a high amount of antioxidants, higher than pomegranates.

If you want to take your drink up a notch, you can choose to add a shot of organically distilled vodka at True Food Kitchen.

Jasper says organic alcoholic beverages, including a number of wines available at True Food Kitchen, are a healthier approach to cocktail drinking.

He says they are free of impurities and are produced in a clean, environmentally-friendly manner that ultimately affects our overall health and quality of life.

True Food Kitchen, located at the Biltmore Fashion Park, is a recently-opened restaurant founded on the healthy lifestyle principles of Dr. Andrew Weil.

For drink recipes: Green Arnie, Honey Lemonade and Ginger Mint Nojito.
