The holiday season is almost upon us, and for many people that means traveling for long weekends to enjoy friends and family out of town.

With airline policies as strict as ever, combined with the general rush and stress of the season, staying put together, relaxed and efficient seems impossible!

Image Expert Jeane B. says it does not have to be a hassle! Just a little pre planning, and clever thinking, and your trip will be a carry-on breeze!

To do this successfully and efficiently, here are 7 easy tips on what to pack for your 3-5 day trip.

1. one simple ensemble in dark neutral of jacket and pants, preferably in wrinkle proof textile like knit or tropical wool.

2. one "day to evening" colorful blouse

3. two or three colorful / neutral tee shirts

4. one colorful cardigan that coordinates with all the tops/blouse

5. one pair high heeled shoes or boots, and a pair of low heeled shoes/ boots

6. underpinnings in beige and black

7. one bag that doubles as a carryon in the same dark neutral as shoes/ boots/ jacket/pants

Add to this list any cosmetic items that are in solid/ pencil/powder form such as special kits including eye/ lip/ cheek colors.

Sephora makes a great "ultimate blockbuster" kit as shown on this segment!

You can find the Sephora house brand of skincare and cosmetics seen in the Sonoran Living Live segment at Sephora.

Stuart Weitzman boots , Vince zipper leggings and Tory Burch tops are from Nordstrom, at Scottsdale Fashion Square.
