PHOENIX -- Halloween can be one of the most frightening times of the year for pets, but one costume shop is hoping to help animals out in the long run.

The owners of Easley's Fun Shop say they'll donate 10 percent of sales to the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control spay and neuter program.

"This is just Easley's way of saying thank you Phoenix for keeping us in business for 62 years. Let us try and help our little four legged friends out there if we can, and help the families to keep them healthy,"  said Debbie Easley.

To take advantage of the deal, customers have to mention the group, Friends of Animal Care and Control.  The offer runs through October 31.

Easley's has been a Valley fixture for more than 62 years, and customers can also take advantage by shopping online, simply by mentioning their favorite charity.

"Let's keep the money here, let's give back to our charities here, support everybody local here and Easleys wants to be the first one to step up to the plate and help,"  Easley said.

The store is located at 509 W. McDowell Road, just east of 7th Avenue.
