Penalties for animal cruelty should be much more severe than the current slap on the wrist. We have a beautiful dog that, at 12 weeks old, was tossed from a moving car. They never even slowed down. She is now 10 years old and the light of our lives. I would hate to think what would have been had she "stayed" with those morons. We called the police when it happened, but they said there wasn't much they could do about it. It's time we took ALL crime seriously.

Public lynching comes to mind. We have a dog that we rescued after being abandoned in our neighborhood. She's now five years old and it's still easy to see that she's been abused. She's terrified to get in a car. Makes you wonder what happened to her eh? I lay awake nights fantasizing on what I'd like to do to animal abusers.

Oh, I'd kill whoever it was. This is no excuse to this. This is why spay and neuter should be mandatory and breeding stopped or severely controlled.

This is the same vein of cruelty and lack of caring that can eventually be directed toward other innocent, defenseless creatures such as children if not brought into check somehow. Unkind people are unkind in their soul and don't think they are doing anything wrong. Sick, sick, sick people.

I live in Anthem and watched this play out from the onset and can tell you that whoever did this, just stay out of Anthem you are not welcomed here. Hopefully after seeing this on the news you have not had a nights sleep. You are a monster.

I don't care how desperate you are, you take it to the Humane Society or Animal Control. There is no excuse. These people that have no respect for a dog, have no respect for human life either. Jerk , I hope you suffer, life will pay you back.

The "person" who left this puppy to die should suffer a horrible death. What comes around, goes around.

Get me the address of that person and I'll gut them jack the ripper style.

Too bad this won't happen to the abuser. I would probably face danger just get an ID and tag # on a person if I saw someone do this.
