TEMPE, AZ -- Disney is one of Arizona State University's most prized possessions.

The 1 1/2 year old yellow Labrador is on loan to the Tempe campus for her very special skills.

Disney is a bomb-sniffing dog who can identify more than 19,000 different kinds of explosives, find guns and ammunition and even learn to identify new explosives with further training.

All she expects is a treat in return.

Disney was trained by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and is on permanent loan to the ASU police for sweeps near the campus.

Her duties include sweeping ASU sporting arenas before games and searching other campus venues before high profile events like a presidential visit or debate.

Disney and her partner, handler Detective Parker Dunwoody, train daily and she is always rewarded with a treat when she finds explosives.
