PHOENIX -- Phoenix Children's Hospital has announced the sale of its patient's holiday card designs for the 2009 Art Project.

The sale of the cards supports services at the Hospital's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and programs including scholarship programs for cancer survivors, research, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and a weeklong summer camp for kids who have been diagnosed with cancer.

This is the 23rd anniversary for the Card Project.

The cards went on sale November 1st.

Holiday card packs can be purchased for $10 at Valley Bashas, Food City, AJ's, and Meridian Bank locations. The packages can also be found at Phoenix Children's Hospital's online Gift Shop.

Families across the Valley were invited to the release of the 2009 Holiday card collection at the Winter Wonderland celebration at a Chandler Food City location.

Families were able to enjoy six tons of snow, a special appearance from Santa Claus spreading holiday cheer, face painting, cookie decorating, holiday craft projects for kids, and the opportunity to meet the young artists who designed the holiday cards.
