It's not often you can casually shop at a holiday boutique, scratch off some of the gifts on your holiday list 7 weeks before Christmas, and want to take your kids with you.

You're saying, did I read this right?  Yes, you did!

The Country Chic Boutique will debut Thursday, November 5 through Saturday, November 7 from 10:00am–8:00pm and is a event created by mothers who realized holiday shopping actually can be a fun family-event.

This 3-day event will be held at the country home of Neal and Ilene Fisher 24612 S. 142nd St., Chandler (near the intersection of Riggs/Lindsay) and will showcases the talents of local artisans.

Families, young and old, will be able to shop from the wide selection of boutique items including jewelry, clothing, home decor, accessories, and much more.

Most of the hand-made items are the work of people living in Chandler, but don't be fooled by the Country Chic name.  The work is an eclectic mix of styles and products, taking place in a farm-like location.

Come with an appetite too, because local food vendors will serve up pork sandwiches, fresh homemade cinnamon rolls and other favorite holiday treats.

And for the kids there will be hayrides, a petting zoo, and kids’ craft barn.  A perfect distraction for the kids and dad,  while Mom gets to shop.

Families can also have a professional photo taken with Santa for just $10 by Sarah Goodman Photography.

Look for this event to become a bi-annual event, but in the meantime you can get more information at 480-250-7080.
