When it comes to wedding planning, most men take a passive approach, allowing the women to make the majority of decisions.

But these days grooms are taking a more active roll helping their fiancés plan their big day, because more and more couples are paying for their weddings themselves.

GroomsOnline, a major online resource for the groom and his wedding party share tips for today's Grooms.

Current Style Trends for Grooms

Grooms are not showing up in a classic black tux, they are coordinating some of the colors that are part of the wedding scheme.

Grooms can take a swatch of the bridesmaid's dress and bring it to the tux shop and they will incorporate the color with accessories like the tie, vest and cumberbunds.
