Who says a new hobby or sport has to cost a lot to get started?

Sometimes called Frisbee golf, disc golf is actually very reasonable.

"You could really come in with a family, buy a whole set of discs, brand new, and come out and play for cheaper than you could go out and see a movie right now," says Keith Murray, disc golf enthusiast and part owner of Spinners on the Green, a disc-golf pro shop situated right on the course at Vista Del Camino Park in Tempe.

With leagues for women, handicapped, doubles and more, anyone can get involved and have a great time.

There are even professional disc golf players.

That's right, and some can make as much as 6 figures getting sponsored.

You can see pros from all over the world this Saturday at Vista Del Camino Park at McDowell and Miller in Tempe.

Find more info here about Spinners on the Green, as well as where the 2009 Memorial Disc Golf Tournament can be watched.
