INGREDIENTS:
8 ripe figs
12 slices of Prosciutto di Parma
1 Tbspn extra virgin olive oil
2 tspn granulated sugar
Course ground black pepper
PROCEDURE:
1. Set oven broiler to high.
2. Cut figs in half and sprinkle with sugar.
3. Place in broiler until sugar caramelizes and creates a candy coating.
4. Arrange figs on a plate following with Prosciutto.
5. Drizzle figs and Prosciutto with olive oil and dust with black cracked pepper.
