Breakfast on the go doesn't have to mean a sugary granola bar or breakfast pastry.
Chef and Registered Dietitian Michelle Dudash has nutritious breakfast ideas that are easy to make, portable, and best of all, delicious!
Sensational smoothiesA favorite of kids everywhere, smoothies offer up to three food groups in one frosty cup.
They contain fiber from the whole fruit (instead of juice), protein and calcium-rich yogurt, and a sprinkle of low fat granola offering whole grains with a crunch.
This smoothie is made with brewed green tea, which has zero calories and zero sugar.
Tea is a source of natural antioxidants, which can help reinforce the body's natural defenses, as well as keep you hydrated.
Theanine is a unique compound naturally found in tea, and the amount of theanine found in 3-5 cups of brewed tea is expected to help produce a relaxed, yet alert state of mind so it helps kids focus on their day at school.
