Simply Impressive Cooking School, says cooking at home can be one of those ways to save.
But we are all so busy we don't always have time to cook meals from scratch. That's why she recommends making 'dual duty' dinners.
Toth says this Moo Shoo Chicken recipe takes almost no time to prepare. She says when she prepares one meal, she tries to make a little extra so it can be morphed into something else.
Toth says you can use the extra chicken from the previous night's dinner, or if you prefer, she suggests picking up a rotisserie chicken at your grocery store to save even more time.
All you have to do, according to Toth, is add a few prepared items from the grocery store and turn it into something completely different. If your family says they don't like leftovers, she says they will never even guess that this had been last night's rotisserie chicken.
