Delicious dinner: Potato Gnocchi with herbs

Enjoy an interesting twist on a pasta dish for dinner tonight.

Chef Christopher Gross of Christopher’s & Crush Lounge shares this recipe that is sure to delight any dinner crowd.

Potato Gnocchi with herbs
INGREDIENTS
3 lbs whole baking potatoes
3 beaten egg
1 yolks
2cups flour
Pinch of salt
Your chopped basil , chives or tarragon up to you about a 1/2 cup of chopped herbs


Bake potatoes@ 350°F. to vent moisture as the potatoes Bake the potatoes in their skins until tender, about an hour.

Scoop out the potatoes and put through a potato ricer and

Add the flour, egg and a pinch of salt. Mix by hand until you have a nice pliable ball of dough.

Then roll the dough out in to long tubes about 1/2 in to 3/4 in diameter.

Then cook gnocchi in simmering water.

As soon as they rise to the surface, remove them drain well.

Now you can sauté them olive oil or just place them on a dish and add your favorite sauce.
